I felt strong today. I'm back at 3000 feet of altitude and I ran 10 miles over some pretty sketchy areas, more hills and dirt than Seattle and I still maintained a 7:35 average over 10 miles. Spent a mile trying to catch some guy i saw running ahead of me, caught up to him and he asked to run with me. Really nice guy, he did the Xtrerra in Hawaii and some stuff around Washington. We ran a mile in about 6:59 and then he split to head home. I wanted to run another 10 tonight, and I could have but a nap ended my bid to get out before the fading light. I am going to be very fit for my spring races, especially once I break into 50,70 and just for fun 100 miles a week. |
